AARP Experience Corps Literacy Tutor Volunteer Project

AARP Experience Corps Literacy Tutors serve as reading mentors, helping students in grades K–3 build foundational literacy skills. Volunteers use structured lesson plans, positive reinforcement, and engaging activities designed to improve reading confidence and academic success.
Support elementary school students in strengthening their reading fluency, comprehension, and overall love for literacy through consistent, one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions.
