Volunteer Playground Monitor: The playground monitor will supervise children at play during operating hours by circulating throughout all designated areas, ensuring safe play. · Check all exterior trash cans (including the dugouts) and empty them if needed. (opening and closing) · Check the entire campus for trash and debris and dispose. · Inspect the playground for faulty or broken equipment, vandalism, and graffiti. · Inspect, review, and monitor campus to deter and prevent inappropriate behaviors and eliminate potential safety hazards. Stay in reasonable proximity to all areas of the playground · Enforce playground rules. · Engage playground visitors. · Report any immediate safety concerns to the LOD or a leadership team member. · During open field times periodically check it to ensure safe play. · Report all maintenance to the LOD. · Other duties as assigned.
