Next Generation Mentoring (NextGen) provides evidence-based high school mentoring focused on college and career readiness. The program matches mentors from corporate partnerships and the general community with high school students. NextGen Mentoring is intended to keep students on track for graduation and success. Mentees engage monthly with mentors for 1-2 hours during in-person events at a nearby Community School or Y Family Center. A BBBSY Site Specialist is present. Screening: 1. Complete a face-to-face interview virtually 2. Volunteers must agree to a background check 3. Two references must be provided (supervisor and spouse/partner or family member) 4. Volunteers must complete pre-match training
