Every Thanksgiving morning, friends and families come together to participate in the annual Y Turkey Trot Charity 5K - a celebration filled with good vibes, high-fives, and pure FUN! With over 16,000 runners across six locations, we need an epic team of enthusiastic volunteers to make this event a success! We’re seeking energetic, fun-loving individuals and groups to assist with everything from packet pick-up to ensuring a seamless experience on race day. Does that sound like fun? (Spoiler alert: it is!) Not only will you be making a positive impact in your community, but volunteering is also a fantastic way to connect with others, share some laughs, and get involved! Here’s what’s on the ‘menu:’ Race day set-up Race registration Packet pick-up Food/Beverage Table Mile Sign Holders Water station team Odd Job Runners Finish Line Assistants Photographer Parking/Traffic Attendants Race day breakdown Training for this position will be provided. In addition, the race director is available on an ongoing basis to answer questions and provide other assistance as needed.
